Hey yall. I'm in this strange place known as New York for a week. I'm house sitting for some family.

So here I sit in a quiet neighborhood in lower NY and man do I need something to do. Anyone got any ideas? I think this is Monsey or Airmont or something. Not sure. I'll look at their mail later to find out.

So all I really know is there's a nice park in Nyack that I'm gonna take their dog to this Sunday or a nice day next week before they get home.

Take a ride through Monsey, it's the creepiest town I have ever seen. I'm not kidding you and I won't reveal any of the surprises. Other than that there is nothing but the college clubs I used to frequent a few years back all the way up on Route 59 and I'm guessing they might not be your cup of tea.

As for lower New York, I'm not to familiar with the place so I am no help.

As for that Escape From New York poster, it always bothered me that they had the Statue Of Liberty's head sitting in the middle of the street. You see in the movie that Lady Liberty clearly still has her head.

You people are fucking pathetic. I'm willing to drive a little. It doesn't have to be 5 minutes down the road or nothing. I can get on the Thruway wasy enough.

I like Nyack and plan to search the area one nice day next week. Their drum shop is nice, but cramped. I'm sure it will be a little nicer now that those kids who mob the Starbucks are in school.
