No, no, no...Going back to NYC shows that The boys haven't forgotten where they come from. It's not like a crappy rebound but more like a healthy mormon marriage where you let your old lady no that she's not forgotten even though your now married to a much younger and hotter chick as well

The band is based out of NYC, so that's easier...they've got a "hook up" with that particular Hard Rock...and to be honest, it's their home. As much as I love having the show here in DC, it's clear that R&F are in their element in NYC. We just had the "Caddyshack" night here, so the DC fans are given some love...it's all good.

KEEPING THE FAITH: Ron and Fez were the last hosts purged from the WNEW-FM hot talk era, and ever since they left their fans have been trying to get some station to bring them back to town.

Sure enough, on Friday night they will be here - doing a live remote from the Hard Rock Cafe for their current gig on WJFK in Washington.

The show starts at 7 and will feature live music by the Ron and Fez band, Crankcase. Gary Hansen of Brooklyn, one of the diehard fans, says other WNEW talk alumni also might be on hand.

Admission is free, though you have to be 21 or older to get in. The Hard Rock is at 221 W. 57th St.

I'm still amazed at what lengths Ron and Fez will go to in order to support their friends. These are two truly special individuals, and the fact that they'd make a trip up to New York and go through the hassle of setting up a live remote just to be there shows how loyal they are.

I'm extremely proud to call them my friends, and I hope everyone shows up to show their appreciation for everything Ron and Fez have done for us over the years.
