It's not everyday you get to see red pandas...so count yourself luck to have seen the above picture!

Red pandas are endangered in the wild as much of their habitat and bamboo food supply is being destroyed.

They have suffered population decreases of around 40% in China over the last 50 years.



It's a real shame that all of these unique species are slowly being snuffed out.

Aww...they're cute...they almost look kinda like foxes. I didn't even know there were red pandas...thats pretty neat..

Yes, yes it is. And there are hundreds if not thousands of species that are in fr worse shape.

And for the record, a species is, by definition, unique :)

Oh, come on - They've got them at The Bronx Zoo! How sensitive/endangered can they be if they can live in Da Bronx?

Of course, the critters I saw could have been spray painted rats. I wasn't paying too close attention.
