I'm so ashamed. I got my comp new from a local comp store Grim Sanity showed me. And I just found out that I don't have a DVD player program loaded on my hard drive to read DVD's! I guess we never put it in there. So I can't watch tje Faces of Death DVD I borrowed!

How can I live with the shame?

You should be able to watch DVDs using Windows Media Player. It isn't the best but it works and it should be loaded on your PC.

BTW, what episode is Dr. Francis Gross up to? I think I watched the first three.

If you put the DVD in the drive, it should automagically load it up into the WMP.

Some people saying using the player as a cup holder is a mistake.

I say I LOVE my hot cocoa while typing.

All is well now. Thank you Grim Sanity, as always. He is the ultimate in tech support and........well, all things needed for a computer! He he he.

And Window's Media Player did not work for me, I tried it. I now have a program to watch DVD's on and it seems to be working OK. Kick ass.

GREAT callback.

wmp will play dvd's AFTER you install another software dvd player, which makes sense cuz microsoft never does anything FIRST.
