One of my friends at work, his brother in law has a house out there. He said they've told him to evacuate his house that it will likely be caught up in the fires.

no i dont think so but where i use to Pardise Valley/Chula Vista is mostly fire.....so its either gone or close to it...Even more sad down the street there was a gas station...so its not safe ot be in the area...AND WORST OF ALL!!! there is a jack and the box down the street....They have the best burgers

These were people that tried valiantly yet unwisely to save their homes and everything they owned. Basically these were people that could not find it within them to do the smart thing and abandon their homes and the sentiments within them.

I used to live in Cali when I was younger. Alot of my relatives still are over there. In fact, my mom (who just came back from Cali- her flight was delayed due to the fires), told me that my uncle and aunt are using the hose to wet the trees around their house as a precaution. Like that's going to stop it!
