I'm supposed to be writing my progress report for my trip, but instead I'm lurking on this board.

JFK to Vancouver: 5-1/2 hours
Vancouver to Hong Kong: 13 hours
Hong Kong to Xiamen: 1-1/2 hours

My back & butt still haven't recovered from the flight over, and I have to do it again tomorrow. Though I did watch 5 movies

I don't remember which year Triumph first showed up on Conan's show, but it aired over in Bangkok like a week before my brother, mom and I were going to China for a week. My brother and I decided that EVERYTHING in China was good..."for us to poop on!!!" I think if we had stayed one day longer my mom would have toppled over the brink of insanity.

So those are my memories of China...the Great Wall smelling like pee and Triumph The Insult Comic Dog.

I have returned. Thanks for all the well wishes.

Very interesting trip, get to see a very old world curlture, but they are modernizing at an alarming rate, should be putting more strain on jobs as long as the RMB stays tied to the dollar.

If you ever get the chance, go. I hope I'll get to back.
