8. Independent Women Part 1 Destiny's Child

65 London Calling The Clash

It is for this reason that England is the jizz-rag of the modern world. Destiny's Child ranked higher than the Clash.

What...no "Mambo #5" from these mooks? Its certainly a better song than say..."Hey Jude" you filthy English whores.

5 In The Ghetto Elvis Presley

Jesus Christ, if you're gonna pick an Elvis tune -- and a later-period Elvis tune to boot -- AT LEAST pick "Suspicious Minds" or "Burnin' Love".

10 River Deep, Mountain High Ike & Tina Turner

I'm not surprised. That song tanked here but was HUGE in the UK.

I learned decades ago to ignore the British charts as well as their music press.

My fave headline in a music rag was from Melody Maker back in the mid to late 70s: "Steeleye Span Storms Across America".

(of course nothing of the sort took place)

Q is the Brit equivalent of Rolling Stone these days.

'Nuff said.

But for sheer insanity, NOTHING beats ye olde NME.

What was funny back in the day was how the Brit kids would believe the crap handed them.

Oh well, A friend's 17 year old thinks he's gonna make a fortune, get the manse, the plane, the babes, etc. by being a gangsta.
The dolt is completely sold.

I hate lists. Stop making lists. The lists are never good. The Stone Roses are great and they are #78.
Destiny's Child is aweful and they are #8.What the fuck?
Stop with the lists. Please.

Thanks to Reefdwella for the great Sig Pic.

And Rolling Stone just came out with their list of the top 500 albums. 500 is to big of a list. And Rolling Stone just blows. Its a really bad list.

Thanks to Reefdwella for the great Sig Pic.
