Hey there peoples,
Anybody remember the old Godzilla DotCommando? Did a buncha call-in reports and an in-studio gig with the boys on Halloween of 2000. Got to give away a load of goodies courtesy of Club Daikaiju and G-Fan magazine.
I know Bennington and Watley have moved on and all, but I still lament the change from the old "dot-com" format the show premiered with in N.Y. That whole schtick still has loads of whacky websites and characters that remain unexploited! Of course, just getting them back on air in the NY market would be uber-sweet, whatever their dillio du jour might be.
As for my own usual topic of obssesion, I'll clue ya's in that '04 is the 50th Anniversary of the King of the Monsters first big-screen debut! Rook out for two new DVD releases in February, namely "Godzilla versus Megaguirus" and "Godzilla/Mothra/King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters' All-Out Attack!". You can hook into the whole G-Scene with G-Fan magazine and some of the cool websites and online resources like The G Project, Kaiju-DIRECT!, Monster Zero News and Rodan's Roost to name but a few. URLs? Just key in a search for 'em by name. I got better things to do than sit here cuttin' and pastin' all morning :)
Here's a howdy to Ginny, Webby and that guy who eats poo. I'd say hi to Ron and Fez if I thought either of 'em knew how to work a flippin' message board. Nice work keeping this joint hoppin' Hoarde-King! Ahh, and since I'm just a widdle newbie hereabouts, I'm curious how many other DotCommando's are here? They can't ALL have succumbed to chronic liver disease or been driven off by angry villagers!
Keep it Unreal,
~E.
