AND I LOVED IT!
Today I was "randomly" chosen to participate in an anonymous National test from the US Dept. of Education. My school being of 800 radomly selected.
Now being me, I usually try my best on these standized tests. But this was different. I now know how those US report cards are so low.
I was administered the Math portion. Complete joke. I probably got 10 out of about 100 questions right. Not like I was trying. I think I gave up after the first question asked me what 10+10 was. When I came to a question involving a diagram of coins, I took some time out to cross the word "God" out of "in god we trust". This was a lot of work!!!
Then, when I got to "section 4", we were asked about 10 questions about our "family life".
Now that I look at it, it's kind've amazing that I'm a latino-american of Alaskin decent who doesnt own a computer, doesnt recieve newspapers or magazines, has parents who didnt finish high school, doesnt own an encyclopedia, doesnt own more than 10 books in his home, has more than 2 hours of homework in a night, and has more than 20 pages of work to read a night.
Life is hard.
