View Full Version : Drunk Driver Forced to carry photo of victim
Drunk driver ordered to carry coffin photo (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3955848/)
I'm usually all for these exotic punishments for drunk drivers, but this is just morbid.

Prosecutors said Langston was drunk and talking on a cell phone in June 2002 when she crossed the center line and hit a pickup truck carrying Glenn Clark and his pregnant wife, Annette. He died, his wife remains in a coma and their son, born by Caesarian section five months after the crash, is being raised by relatives.
Nope, I have no problem with this sentence at all. If anything, it is too lenient in this case. I would much rather she had his face tatooed on her arm so she would have to look at it for the rest of her life, a luxury not afforded her victims.

It could have been worse -- especially if the guy required a closed casket.

Clark's mother, Rosellen Moller, has been unapologetic.
"That's where she put him - in a casket. That's what she did for him. I'd just shut my mouth if I was her," Moller said.
Good for her.

She should just shut up about it. Would she rather be in jail? She got off easy for what she did.

If they are allowing this bitch to get behind the wheel ever again, the picture should be a 5x7 affixed to her dash board. Every room of her house should have that picture, as well as pictures of the pregnant woman in a coma, and pictures of the baby crying, with a title under it saying, "I was born into this world with no parents because of YOU."
I like that idea.
Did anyone see that HBO family special about the drunk guy that killed a girl and he was sentenced to send her family a check for $1 every Friday? I liked that punishment also. I especially liked the fact that he suffered every time he wrote the check.

she should be killed. Period end of story. Probation or little jail time and a picture. I have pictures in my wallet i haven't seen in years.
