I love snow days

It's days like today that makes working for my company worthwhile. My boss got me set up with a laptop, so that I can work from home occasionally and when the weather is bad. I'm sure I probably could have made it in ok, but my car sucks on snowy, wet roads, and my job just really isn't worth the hassle of trying to get to work. Before I moved and switched job locations, I had a 5 mile commute, so I pretty much had to go in no matter what. Now I have to go over the TZ bridge into Jersey, so I take advantage of these days as much as I can (as does my boss).
I just wanted to rub it in to those who had to drive to work today. Screw you guys, I'm working in my pjs today! :eg:

My school FINALLY closed for the snow. For some reason, they do not believe in early release and last time we had the big storm during the week, it took one of my eight year old students 4 hours to get home. The bus didn't even arrive until 5 pm, and he usually leaves school around 2:45. My principal finally smartened up and closed due to the weather.

Since I did all my paperwork last night, I am just going read, read, read today. I can't wait!

F*cking A- I had work today. Damn director didn't give the call for no work due to snow, even though they told us to plan for Wednesday to cover until Thursday (We did 2 days of work in 1 day). What good is a snow day (we're supposed to be closed due to snow) if your not going to make the call to shut down? It's not like we could have done alot in the community with all this snow and lack of 4 wheel drive on our vehicles. Even the pharmacy where we get all our medications from thought we were closed! The only good thing about it is that I took my sweet ass time getting to work (got there around 9:30 instead of 8) and (whoppee) they let us close up at 2 p.m.

BUT I love snow days. I got to test out the 4 wheel drive on my SUV. NICE!!!
