I was playing basketball on Tuesay night and while I was going in for a rebound, I caught an elbow in the mouth. Besides blood and a busted lip, I've become very paranoid about my bottom set of front teeth which seem to be loose since the incident.

I haven't been eating anything really tough just in case one of my teeth falls out. (I definetly know I'm not going to eat corn on the cob after witnessing one of my clients lose one of their teeth that way last Thanksgiving).

When I chew stuff in my mouth I make it a conscious effort to make sure I chew it with my back teeth. If I eat a sandwhich, I eat it piece by piece (ex. I had a grilled chicken sandwich the other day and I ate the top bun first, the lettece then tomatoe, broke the chicken into pieces and finally ate the bottom part of the bread).

When I brush my teeth, I'm more gentler when I brush and right now I haven't floss since I'm afraid I might take out a tooth when I do it.

God this fear of loosing your teeth sucks. I hate this feeling. Now I got to buy a mouthpiece for next Tuesday. :(

Go see a dentist if you're that worried about your teeth.

Dreaming about teeth is very common:

I hate those losing your teeth nightmares. It's my worst fear. I actually sit and think about what I would do if I lost a tooth. I am obsessed with dental hygiene for this reason. I would go see a dentist.

If they are cracked where they come out of your jaw, then avoiding using them will not make any difference, they wont "grow back together" like other bones. If they are cracked and the root is damaged, you could get an infection that will be quite painful, not to mention that theyll turn black and be fugly, so I suggest you see a dentist. If you dont have the money, many of the old time dentists will let you pay it off over time, so thats what Id suggest you do. Not trying to scare you or anything....http://www.dentavac.com/images/implant2.jpg

thats creepy... i have tooth nighmares about once or twice a year. i thought it was just me. but hey... sometimes i have dreams about getting crazy head from hot women, so i guess it all balances out.

just as long as i dont have a nightmare about getting angry head with rotting teeth chewing off my genitals.

Wow, its weird to see so many people with teeth nightmares. Ive never had nightmares about my teeth, but once when I was 12 or so, I was playing frisbee in the street with my cousin at night during a block party and he threw the frisbee and it went over my head and I spun around and got run down by this guy on a bicycle. He was going really fast and it threw me and I landed right on my front teeth! I hit hard on the street and I heard them crunch. I was in so much pain because of so many points of impact-the bike, the guy and the ground. I was helped up and look over and the the guy is on his hands and knees trying to get up and his front wheel is bent in half! I thought for sure I knocked my teeth out and broke my arm, and was brought inside and checked out, there was no broken teeth, but there was a crack rear the bottom of one and man, did it hurt! My arm wasnt broken either, but I had a black and blue that went from shoulder to wrist for 2 months.

cack

nice use. such an under-rated word.

is it AC Green?

he was hit in the face with an elbow by J.R. Reid in a game against New York on Feb. 25. Two of his teeth were knocked out, but he did not miss a game...
