I don't move for people who flash their brights

It bothers me. If someone doesn't like how I drive, go around me. If they can't due to traffic, then obviously I can't move either.

I guy rode up behind me tonight on the cross island parkway and flashes his brights. I'm doing 65, fuck him. traffic was moderate. he flashes again, nothing. third time, i flipped him off. That apparently pissed him off because he then rode on my ass, forced his way over, then in front of me.

What did I do? you guessed it, put my brights on. But I didn't flash them, I left them on. It must have been for about a mile until he got off.

I don't flash my lights at others, I don't expect people to do it to me. I don't care if you park in the passing lane.

On a recent trip to N Carolina 'where i drove through the night', i was doing 75 in the left lane and some new SUV comes up behind me and flashes his hi-beams. I didn't move over so he went around and cut right in front of me and began to tap his brakes(it was around 2:30 a.m. and my wife and daughters were sleeping) When he got in front of me I put my hi-beams on. After so many seconds i moved to the middle lane and he cut in front of me again and would tap his brakes. This happened several times and then he pulled up along the passenger side(real close) and started yelling, i paid him no mind but admit getting a little nervous thinking 'what if this guy has a gun and decides to take a few shots' About another mile or so he pulled off at a Rest Stop.

Next time i'll get his license and call 911... And i decided i'll move over as well... Too many angry people on the roads...

This one time, a guy was trying to cut me off on the road, he then went into the on-coming traffic and went in front of me. Then he slowed down to a crawl to annoy me. I obviously had no choice but to go into flipmode style. I have a full can of Fosters that I keep in my truck. I got into the on-coming lane and rolled down the passenger window. I then honked and waited for him to give me the "glare". At that moment I tossed the can at his fat head shattering the glass. Next thing I knew his car went off the road. I head a small pop about 2 minutes later. I wonder what happened.

Rules of the 3 Lane Road

Right Lane (Slow):
When driving in this lane you cannot pressure anyone to drive faster, i.e.; flashing lights, tailgating etc. This is the slow lane, wanting to drive fast is your problem not theirs, back off.

Middle Lane (Moderate):
When driving in this lane the speed limit should be between 60 and 69 tops when traffic is heavy. If you want to go faster, this is your problem, no one else's.

Left Lane (Fast):
This is the lane where the action should be, it's a passing lane and people want to drive fast in it. Respect that fact and move out of the way if a person flashes you. Sure it might be an asshole thing to do, but your job is not to teach everyone a lesson on the road. Get over yourself and stop objecting disdainfully with, "How can they do this to me, don't they know who I am".

It's funny how narcissistic people are when they take a person flashing their lights as an attack on them as a person.

if you see someone tapping their brakes erratically in front of you slow yer ass down, smokey's waiting in the bushes.

if someone high beams you from behind just slam on your brakes let him hit you, the person in the back is ALWAYS at fault. also another good option is be like me and get extremely dark tints and get a nice 6way strobe (police light kit) let him get in front of you next time and scare the living shit out of him. (caution, only do this very late at night as they WILL arrest your ass for impersonating a police officer.)

1. if you move into the left land, you go with the pace, you don't set it.
2. there is a 3 sec time frame that you must get over in, when the oppurtunity arises
3. when in the left lane, there should never be more than a 4 car distance from your front bumper and the back of the car infront of you.

otherwise, you're being the prick and should stay to the right. so stop ripping so many bong hits before hacky-sack practice and maybe you'll be able to keep up with the big boys. freakin' hippie :p

Ok what is WRONG with some of you people? I fyou are in the left lane you go FASTER then those on your right. If the speed limit is 65 and you are doing 65 in the left lane? Move the fuck over.
Plain and simple.
That is the rules. Slower traffic is always on the right.
And someone flashing his high beams at you? How do you know if he is just wanting to go faster or if he has an emergency to get home to?
I have such an urge to drive people who slow up the left lane into the ditch it is not funny.

I was on the turnpike (NJ) this past summer...someone was in the left lane doing 60(!) when the speed limit is 65! I gavehim many opportunities to move over to the right lane (yes I was in a hurry) and he refused to move over, then I flashed him. Nothing. Then I had to swing over 3 lanes of traffic to shift back to the left lane where it was WIDE open in front of him. I was pissed...cut him off...he flipped me the finger and I turned around and waved 'bye bye' then punched it...he got small in the rear view VERY quickly.
It's those types that piss me off.

Now, if there are cars to the right of me and speedy cannot go around, I'll speed up to get in front of those cars in order to move over for speedy. That is the only exception I'll allow.

Actually...I have an OLD CB system which still works. They work great for getting a heads up for cops about 2-3 miles ahead AND behind you.
Saved me about 300-400 bucks in speeding tickets.

This starts a war because they are now trying to run me off of the road. One of them threw an empty water bottle at my car, and they thought this was hysterical. I guess I had the last laugh when I took a handful of pennies that were in my car and tossed it at them, cracking the window. Needless to say, they probably had a heart attack because they broke daddy's car window. You shouldn't fuck with people on the road; you never know who you are fucking with and how they will react.

Something like that happened to me about 10 years ago. I was driving on Rt.78 East in NJ and three 20 year old-looking guys were driving like crazy people all over the road in the middle of the day. I was working for a Police Dept. as a dispatcher. the uniforms looked almost like State Trooper uniforms and also I had a badge and leather case.
So as they came too close to me for the 3rd time I pulled up right along side them and just pressed my badge against the driver side window.
They turned pale white as they had a very scared look on their faces and slowed up to the speed limit.
I laughed my ass off and kept going as they dropped back.
Stupid fucks! I hope they learned. (Doubt it though)

The purpose of the road is to allow people to get places. If people dont realise that and they continue to drive well below the posted speed or drive erratically, they deserve to be taught the lesson that it will not be tolerated. If people cant drive with the intention of getting anywhere, they are messing up the time of others that have places to go and things to do. Never drive neck and neck with anyone, never keep your car in a position with someone elses car that prevents others from getting around you. Failure to abide by these simple rules will save you a great deal of frustration. If your going down a one lane road and others are riding up on your ass, even if your going the speed limit, pull to the side and allow them to pass. The posted speed limit is the law, but not everyone chooses to abide it; if they are willing to break the law, they are willing to break other laws as well; let them go around you. Im not saying this to shock, Im saying it as a driver, Ive driven professionally and I know what Im talking about. The LIE has an HOV lane, and you can only get on and off it legally in certain areas. Ive been in it with people in my car and some old guy with a hat is going 55 and Im stuck behind him for miles because I cant get off and cars are zipping past us to the right at 80 miles an hour, it absolutely makes my blood boil. At the first opportunity, I blow past that lollygagger so fast that the subsonic wind from the shockwave of my passage will blow his fuckin' hat off!!
