It's true. I messed around with the little thing "this message edited by" under my sigpic and I got all kindsa questions.

"<i>What?!? When did Tall_James become a Mod</i>"

Sure, I've daydreamed about what sorta mod I would be.

"<i>Oh, I'd be a responsible mod.. the kind that all the cool kids like. People would love me!</i>"

In reality, I'd be all power mad, banning people on a whim or if their belts and shoes don't match.

Tell me you haven't looked at the Message Board and thought to yourself, "Hmmm.. a few of these Mods haven't been posting much.. I wonder if they'll elect some more any time soon." Or, "Hey, what's her face isn't a mod anymore.. maybe my name will come up as a possible replacement!"

It's fun to think about and everybody's curious about what goes on in the Mod Forum, as evidenced (can that be used as a verb?) by the numerous threads about it. I'm sure it's mainly mundane stuff that I wouldn't care about in the slightest. Still, everybody likes to know a secret and be "in."

I think the current mods are doing a great job and are plenty numerous. Also, just because you don't see a mod doesn't mean he or she isn't present. I think they should be congratulated.

I always wonder if you are a mod, do they require you to be in constant messenger contact with other mods when 2 or more are on at the same time? If one mod posts something that another mod disagrees with, can the other mod delete it? Lets say Jon kicks me off the board, but PantarA un-kicks me off, can Jon then go to an Admin to complain, and all 3 kind of sit at a round table and hash it out?

So if an Admin disagrees with an Admin they should call an Admin to mediate? I always pick Carter because he's so well known and respected on the board.

Also, what if a mod didnt mod as good as another mod? Are there mod's that admonish administrators?
