I can't be quite

I don't know, it seems everytime I try to be quite to hear something or not disturb someone I end up making a lounder noise.

Now everytime I walk by my seven month old niece I wake her up. If I try to make something to eat late I'll end up dropping stuff. The more I try to be quite the more noise I make.

When my sister in law had her first kid, she was in total silent mode, not wanting any sound to disturb the baby as he slept, but since you cant really stop all noise and the kid kept waking up and crying, she decided with her next one to take the opposite approach. The other baby learned to sleep through vacuuming, the tv, radio playing, etc. and didnt have any problems the other one had. Go figure.
