Sure, I care about taxes, social programs, fiscal responsiblity, and wars we're involved in. But I will vote for the president on the basis of one issue: the candidates' positions on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Is there one issue that is so important (or emotional) to you that you can brush everything else aside?

I will vote based solely on the results of the bathing suit competition.

I will vote for someone on one issue, and there are a number of reasons why.
Is there one issue that is so important (or emotional) to you that you can brush everything else aside?
No.

I vote according to my Magic 8 Ball, and by that I mean Carlos the Coke Fairy, who smuggles my Yayo here from Panama in his colon.

Military spending. So far the candidates who truly support that have agreed with me on abortion, so I guess that's my one issue. However, if say, Giuliani ran for office again, I would have a tough time voting for a pro-choice candidate albeit pro-defense. So I guess I'm a 2 issue voter mainly.

Military spending.
I find it interesting that you used that wording. Democrats are accused of just throwing money at education and not having any new ideas to improve the situation. Yet when it comes to the military, throwing money at it seems to be the only solution. I just find that ironic.

Id like to see the Flat Tax implimented, so that tax time wont be such a pain in the ass. Everyone pays the same with no deductions and just a national sales tax on things we buy. Thats it.

Well played. I would like to see more schools become privatized and localized with minimal federal or even state intrusion. I don't think the same option is viable for the military.

Fair enough. I just don't like the idea of using funding as an indicator of how much someone is supporting a program, whether it be education or defense. A good example would be Rumsfeld's idea of a light, mobile army. It certainly was effective in the invasion, if not the occupation.
We spend so much money on everything that ot hardly matters. We need fresh ideas more than money. Too bad that doesn't work in politics.
But anyway, getting back to the topic, if I were a one issue voter, it would be health care. But I'm not a one-issue voter. If a candidate is a fucking whack job in every other area, he ain't getting my vote. See: Kucinich, Dennis.
