i got hot sauce in my eye

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

i was just finishing up breakfast a few minutes ago, with which i was having some hot sauce. i felt like there might be something in my eye, so i touched the corner to see if there was a stray eyelash or something. i guess there must have been a trace of hot sauce on my finger; i could feel it as soon as it touched my eye. it took about five seconds before it really started to burn like a motherfucker. i ran to the bathroom, actually had the presence of mind to wash my hands first before getting more hot sauce in my eye trying to wash it out, and then started splashing cold water on my eye like a crazy person. it's feeling okay now, if a little burny. but, wow, did that hurt.

my advice, wear goggles the next time you have hot sauce. it's not pretty.

I did this once with Dave's Insanity Sauce. I was actually taking contact lenses out after trying the sauce earlier in the evening. Very, very ugly.

My 4 year old nephew was in Florida visiting my family there and was having lunch with his mom at a beachside restaurant. His mom put what she thought was ketchup on his plate for his french fries and the boy started eating.

It was not ketchup, it was a hot sauce called "Flambeau". The poor kid was a mess.

i'm in work now and i bought a small bag of the dutch pretzels out of the vending machine. usualy when i get to the bottom i'll wet my finger and reach down in the corner of the bag to get the remaining salt. but tonight i decided to lean my head back and pour the salt into my mouth. i tipped the bag too quickly and the salt came flying out hitting me in the face, some in the mouth, and some in my right eye. i closed my eyelid and the salt was caught in the corner. it burned a little bit for about 10 seconds but that's it...
