OBL announces truce with Europe, none for U.S.

i didn't see anything relating to this so i figured i'd post here about it.
It seems a new audio tape surfaced stating that a 3 month truce, or more, with European countries would be established once they pulled their troops from Muslim nations.
i'm not exactly sure if the tape has been determined to truly Osama Bin Laden, because while one source says that it has been, another says it hasn't been.
It seems like a desparation move.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. It sounds pretty shrewd to me. What it looks like to me is that bin Ladin is trying to divide Europe from the US. Countries like France and Germany will almost certainly look this "truce" over and seriously consider it. It looks like nothing but a devious plan to divide and conquer!! Another way to weaken any coalition that may be in the offing!!

1. Europe and U.S are catching up and he doing this to attempt to scary them off, just planning the idea of possible other attacks on them(Europe & U.S)

2. A agreement of peace, OBL hoping Europe will stop their end on the war on terrorism aka hunting muslims

I wouldn't be surprise France and Germany serectly accepts the peace offering

This seems to be the most likely one. But I don't see it as an act of desperation. He's trying to scare us and make us think. I wouldn't be surprised if there are anymore attacks in the near future though.

There has already been a "new Rome", it was called The Renaissance, and it was during it's building boom that the biggest contribution was made to the destruction of the old Rome.

Whole sections of the city were destroyed. Sections that had been around for 1200 years, torn down to build "new".

I'm pretty sure that declaring we are the New Rome and taking over is just the thing to enhance the already high level of respect that so many other countries have for us. Ideally, we can ignore and alienate history and tradition to the point where everyone is like us.
