Like Mike said, the most surefire way to get stuff to the boys is to e-mail it or IM RonandFez@aol.com, so if you can can scan whatever you're trying to send, do it.

My friends little brother dug one up out of the gound the other day and it was still all small.

they are small when theyre in the ground. They grow after they emerge and climb and mature into, this year: Brood X Periodic Cicada.
No Shit; not Brood M, or S, or something nice like Brood G, but Brood Fucking X. Right out of a horror movie. As is the idea that upwards of a million+ per acre during all of this shit have been recorded.
It really is a Bug Planet.

I don't know about you, but listening to this show was one of the funnier shows I've heard in awhile. Listening to Ron get totally disgusted was good radio, in my opinion. Not that anyone asked :)

I remember reading a thread about cicadas a while back. A couple of days ago I was going up my walkway in front of my house and I see a shitload of bugs crawling all over the place. I say, "Oh, I guess it's cicadas" and go in the house." After a couple of minutes I think, "They seemed too small to be cicadas. They weren't making much noise, either." I go back out and ask my mother to take a look. Turns out they were termites. yay. that's much better............

It makes things easier for people who like to eat them - young cicadas are said to taste like canned asparagus.

cecades arent bad, just loud, and are huge and easily scare people

Watch the golf on CBS right now. They are in Ohio. The noise the cicadas are making is almost as loud as the announcers.
