Where I work we operate in military time. It's very strange though because no matter what I'm doing if I'm at work whether it is business or personal I immediately think of things and write things down in military time. However when I get out of work, I instantly think in regular time.

For instance, I was just writing a personal note to someone and I wrote out the time in military time. Right now it's 2:20 or 14:20 in military time. But for whatever reason I naturally think military time. But when I get home if I write out a note I'll write it in regular time such as "It's 6pm. I'll be back later..." or whatever. It's just strange that I do that without even thinking about it.

believe it or not, I do the same exact thing between work and regular life. Never thought to make a thread about it, but thats just me. :)

its all i use in personal life, and dates are written

Day/Month/Year, to seperate the numbers with a word, so for me its

06 May 04; in some parts of the world its

6/5/04, while for others,
5/6/04. weird.

1650 and OUT!

Working for the Navy has made me use military time all the time.

yeah i think also the airline industry speaks fluent military time; but then converts it to regular time for us Schlubbs.

its gotta be insanely easier for airline flight times and stuff.

Hey look!
They go up by 100 every hour!
Every single hour, it goes up by a hundred!
Like, if it's 6pm now, that's 1800, right?
Well, an hour from now, it will be 1900!
And two hours ago, it was 1600.
Then an hour later (or one hour ago), it was 1700!

There's like a system to this thing.

" and they ask me why I drink"
