View Full Version : Columbine killer's parents: Don't need forgiveness

These fuckers will burn in hell along with the idiot sons they raised! (http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/Central/05/16/columbine.parents.ap/index.html)

"I haven't done anything for which I need forgiveness," Susan Klebold said.

They acknowledged they missed signs that their son was in trouble.

Like them making bombs in their house? or stockpiling weapons?

The Klebolds said their son was set off by the "toxic culture" of the school, where athletes were worshipped and bullying was tolerated.

I think we ALL went to that school. What a cop out!

It's too bad these kids didn't have their parents on "The List".

Mom: Hun, he's wearing that trench coat again.

Dad: Don't worry sweetheart. He's not going anywhere.

Mom: What's he doing?

Dad: Watching that Matrix video again. But it doesn't matter. Boy's will be boy's.

KABLAM!!!!!

Mom: What was that?!

Dad: Must be the wind.

You people should try teaching.

Kids these days all look like they could possibly shoot-up the school. Seriously.

Is there a chance of charging these parents with something? This is obviously their fault. And I never forgave them, I don't know why any of the victim's families would. They raised monsters, literally.

guess you have to take into consideration that there are situations where parents can love two children the same and one will turn out to be morally sound but the other turn to evil whether it be drugs, sex, ronfez, or murder...

tough call

Brooks' Column from Saturday's Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2004/05/15/opinion/15BROO.html?n=Top%2fOpinion%2fEditorials%20and%20O p%2dEd%2fOp%2dEd%2fColumnists)

Slate Article - Worth the Read (http://slate.msn.com/id/2099203)

The Slate article is a recap of the FBI's conclusions of why Columbine happened. In short, Klebold was the follower; Harris was the true psychopath.

& Brooks does let the parents off a little too easily.

I have disagree. I never was never allowed to watch Tom and Jerry and I probably would have fallen into the 'look like they could possibly shoot-up the school' classification.

Yeah rooster I agree but part of me also knows the main, numero uno, bestest, Most Goodest indicator of a student, or any kids mental well-being is the amount of active involvement the parents have in said child's life. Not 100%, but...

So, for me, the answer, is somewhere along a continuum...

This was, and is, however, a continuing nightmare for all the parents involved. Not being a parent, I defer to them, but I do note, in the victim's families, a wide continuum of feelings and emotions towards the killers. Exactly why I defer.

What else are the parents going to say? They loved their kid, even though he did a really horrible thing. That being said, they really should take some responsibility for their actions. But, how do you live with yourself after you admit that you played a part in all those deaths.

I don't know. Can a kid be brought up right and still turn out bad? Is there an evil gene that just can't be changed?

I liked what one of the creators of South Park had said on bowling for columbine. He said that once your out of high school you realize the insignificance of everything that happened there.

The "cool" people turn out to live with their parents until they are 40, work at some low paying job, making no money, and drinking at the bars every weekend talking about the glory days of high school.

I believe that is true. Sometimes you get a bad seed. It's noones fault.

Just to play devil's advocate here for a moment. If these two bastards hadn't killed themselves and instead had given themselves up or been captured and were now claiming that it was their parents' faults for not raising them correctly, wouldn't a lot of you people laying blame at the feet of the parents be up in arms over these 2 idiots not being responsible for their own actions? If it works one way, it has to work the other. I'm just sayin'.
