and why is it holding my PC hostage?

For the past week or so, I keep getting a screen welcoming me to Book Mark Express. It prompts me to "start an account" or "do not start account." I click "do not start account" then My Norton software tells me BMClient is trying to access the Internet. I click "block" but the screen comes up a good 3 or 4 times and it's a pain in the arse.

I've run Norton and Ad-Aware and it doesn't help. Any suggestions?

Is this coming up as your homepage? Something like this happend to me the other day. Check your preferences on your browser.

BookMark Express is spyware. I've read up on it and apparantly there's a way to remove in add/remove programs of your control panel. Though I also highly recommend getting AdAware (http://www.lavasoft.de/) and Spybot (http://download.com.com/3000-8022-10289035.html?tag=lst-0-3) to remove it fully from your system.
