For some reason, I just can't deal with a single person here today. Not that anything is wrong, I just can't stand to listen to their voices today.

Maybe I just have a "case of the Monday's." Maybe I need to shoot up this place.
Maybe I should just go home and hug my kids.

There are three people in my immediate vicinity that are very "cliquey." They do EVERYTHING but go to the bathroom together (one of the group is a guy). They irk me.

The one person I kinda like is a bit eccentric and way too smart for the job.

On the whole, I don't like most people I work with. Most days my personal space starts *here* and ends in Montana.

a creepy Spaniard in a wheelchair who doesn't shower and
plays a never ending loop of the Spanish Macarena & some
sort of Latino Kenny G. His fingernail clippings fly over the
partition between our desks and they land on mine

the ambiguously gay guy who thinks everyone is out to get
him

the I'm-not-midlife-crisising 50 something who just got
married and distributes emails and newspaper clippings
about pro-pot rallies and anti-bush sentiments under the
guise of thinking he's funny

oh and lets not forget the intern who has been for 3
pregnancy tests but has only been there since
Thanksgiving

the self-important assistant IT director who was spurned by
the decision to put a MAN in front of her for the job
(though he was more qualified) so she abuses and
attempts to usurp every bit of power she can sniff out

then there are the 3 women who only talk about Vibe and
Ebony magazine while quips of "awwwwww girl, that bitch
don't get her job done" can be heard while they stand
around feeding their face and talking about the source
awards

Oh yeah and I work for the municipal government so don't
forget the awesome belligerent taxpayers I have as
customers.

Sadly, all of this is true. July 30th won't get here soon
enough.

Im forced to share my cubicle with "Ralph" who yawns so loud the customers hear him from my phone, fights with his wife on the phone all day, farts continuously and challenges customers to come down to the building so he can kick their ass and never gets fired. "Nicole" is always leaning over the cubicle wall asking me questions on how to do stuff despite having been there longer than me and is in total panic mode all day long. "Jackie" sits behind me and has more stored food in her cubicle than most deli's and stuffs her face all day despite having her stomach stapled last year in a vain attempt to curb her 350+ pounds with 8 inch long nails. The supervisor (mediocrevisor) constantly signing and laughing outloud and clearly outclassed intellectually by his subordinates yelling out his announcements while everyone is on the phone or talking to you when your talking to the customer in an attempt to appear effectual. The beautiful girl from accounting throwing herself sexually at another married coworker. The list goes on and on..

I thank God that I'm on the road for nearly the entire day of work. The office and warehouse is loaded with stupid, moronic, incompetent jackasses. I've threatened several of them with physical violence on many occasions out of sheer frustration.

Road rage is a picnic compared the the "office rage" I get from being around those jerkoffs.

I agree. I use to have a job as a driver for a freight company and loved driving and meeting new people all the time and I didnt realise how sucky it would be being cooped up in an office all day. I should look into getting a different job.
