Man that fucking sucks. I'm glad I didn't die early enough that the only testament to my life was "hey, he was good in school..."

I guess they're gonna outlaw camping in Boy Scouts now as being too dangerous....

That's pretty funny, making fun of a dead 7-year old. Clever.

FXS...here's a free comedy tip (courtesy of Mikeyboy)

Tragedy + Time = Comedy

Too fresh. Waaaaaaay too fresh.

EDIT: Addendum to that rule. When kids are involved in the tragedy....just keep your mouth shut and walk away.

Very well put James....looks like someone seriously F'd up with trying to impress with the comedy.
The saddest part of the whole story was the father of the child was lying right next to him. They were both camping out with the troop. For a father to see his son die right in front of him...well I can only say My heart goes out to the family.

Bowie, Md.: Berkeley, I'm so glad you're back!; I've really missed The Far Side all these years.

Berkeley Breathed: Yes, thank you, but I don't draw Far Side. I draw Calvin and Hobbes.

The saddest part of the whole story was the father of the child was lying right next to him.

No fucking joke, man.
This poor dude has got to be a total fucking zombie after seeing his kid die like that right in front of him.

I got a letter from the army so I think that I'll enlist. I'm not brave or proud of nothing I just want to kill something.

You know what, I was about to get upset and call all you hypocrites because it seems most people on here love O&A and all that shock humor but in fact I was wrong.

That is terrible and if that was someone in my fam, I'd be crying my eyes out. So my fault, dumb comment.

Damn, that kid was from my old hometown.

That's just horrible, a father-son thing that should have been full of great memories. I feel terrible for the dad.
