SO I get my fixed xomputer back home

after waiting 3 hours for it to be repaired. They install Windows 98 on it again and everything checks out great! I get it home plug it in turn it on and get a HUGE FUCKING ERROR MESSAGE saying " Memmory parity error system halted" WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN? I just had added a 128MB of RAM to it but it was working fine until I brought it home! HELP!!

It means that the memory is non in sysc with another part of your system. Maybe you have a system that the memory needs to be in pairs and as of now, it is not. Also, one of the ram sticks could have went bad on the car ride home from an electric shock. I would open the case, and take out each stick of RAM and re-seat it. The try and re-boot. If you do this, make sure the computer is unplugged and you are not standing on carpet. Also, touch something grounded before to discharge yourself of any static electricity.

OK heres the weird thing, My computer WONT work with this HP monitor I have But has NO problems booting up with this Dell monitor. I had this funny ass feeling it was something stupid like that. The ony other problem was with my CD-RW, It shows that its there BUT when I try to use it it says something like its not acessable Any help?
