i mean id like to settle down before i am 30 ( im 23 now) but the whole bar/ club thing is really gross

i have been to weddings 2 weeks in a row- although they were both lovely and i wish them all the best - inside of me has turned out to be cynical- the whole trust thing and warming up to someone and allowing someone back in my heart - I FEEL- i wont ever be able to do again...

we boys are dumb; you can go out to a bar with a twin in your pocket and not spend a dime. it's all about playing your cards right.

the fact you have a vgina gives youu so much power over us. yes 90% of the dudes you'll meet in a bar a creepy, but you can still have a grand old time with the other 10% without even putting out.

shit, i'm spoken for, yet when i go out i will mack it to chicks to amuse myself with no intention of hooking up. it's all about fun. i can tell if a chick wants to get with me but i play it right. (i'm coming off as cocky)

but as long as i'm amused it's a fun night. i knew some chick wanted to fuck and i left with my boys - you have the vagina advantage.

go out, play the game and have fun. it makes for an eventful night plus you get sttories to tell the next day. no need to put outboys are used to constant rejection. so go out and get yours.

All I have to say is go out and enjoy life. I think everyone has felt the way you do at one point in their life. Its only through all the bad shit and terrible experiences do we learn what to look for and what to appreciate most out of the opposite sex.

No matter how bad it feels or how bad it may be, eventually things will get better.

Im 39 and I notice that people in your age group and a bit different than the way they use to be when I was in your age group. The best advice I could give is to never let yourself become jaded and to go to these places with the knowledge that the others above have mentioned and just experience whats going on. You are an observer. Dont assume that anyone is being forthcoming and honest and figure that their judgement might be off because of the effects of alcohol or whatever. Keep and open mind and open eyes. I know that there are still descent people out there and you will find them. Though a bar is not the most likely place. Most guys are after one thing; meaningless sex without any emotional "baggage" or commitment. But dont let that stop you from enjoying yourself. Get a circle of friends that you trust and who will look out for you and who you could get their vibes on who you meet. Im sure youll be ok, but remember that any pain you feel as a result of a bad experience is part of the learning process and dont let any fear of that pain stop you from enjoying yourself.

I'm hate the whole bar, meeting and dating thing more than anyone. I'm 27, and haven't met a girl in a bar in at least 3 years. I'm still not a sure witch is worse, meeting a girl in a bar, or having your friends set you up. They think they know you, and know what you want, but they don't. You end up with someone that you have nothing in common with, and you're not attracted to in the least. At least in the bar, for the most part, you need to be attracted to each other to hook up. Later on you find out you have nothing in common, and you hate each other.

The only girl I have ever truley fallen in love with, I met at work. That would be a hard thing to do with the job I have now. There is only one young lady at the current job, and all the guys here are trying to get a piece of it. I've almost given up at this point, I'm just hopeing that we hire some one new, so I can fall in love again!
