Sunday, I worked an overnight shift, which ended at 10:30am the next morning, went to sleep around a quater to 10, woke up around 6:00PM Sat around for a few hours , showered and went BACK to work at 9PM for another over night whiched ended around 11:30ish today, Im deciding on not going to sleep being that Ill probably wake up around 9PM and be up half the night. So figure come 6PM It will be 24 hours Ive been up, never have I done this before acept when I was drunk

Most recent was my sister's wedding. I maybe got 2 hours sleep the night before. I was up at 7:30 the day of the wedding (Saturday). Started drinking at 1. Did not stop until 5am. We were all partying in the hotel room I think I dozed for about a half hour. Did not go to bed until 8pm Sunday night.

I had a stretch in college where I went just under 50 hours without sleep. I stayed up all Sunday night studying for a biology exam and writing a program for computer science. It was about 7pm the next day when I realized I had a 12 page paper due Tuesday, so I stayed up all night writing the paper (I got an A on that one, if you can believe that) and went to all my classes on Tuesday. Then I fell asleep around 3 or 4pm Tuesday, 49 hours after I woke up on Sunday.

When I flew to London I stayed up the night before so I would be tired on the plane. It didnt work. We left NY at 6 AM and landed there when it was still early morning. We ended up staying up till 3 or 4 AM London time. With the change in time zones Im not sure exactly how many hours it was but it felt like forever.

I think it was somewhere in the 36-40 hour range. It was a mix of college final exams and partying. i think i slept for 16-18 hours afterwards.

I did the exact opposite, excpet I was flying to Australia:

Slept in, flight left at 2pm Saturday, stayed awake the entire flight (24 hours in the air, ~30 hours with layovers).

Got to Australia at 2pm on Monday, fell asleep around 5 or 6pm, and woke up at 7am the next morning and I had no jetlag whatsoever.

68 Hours.

It was the best time and the worst time of my entire life. A friend of mine stayed up for 62 hours, about two days and a half, and these were school days and he went to school while sleep deprived. So me and my friend wanted to beat him, we did the same, started at 6 in the morning on a thursday and ended on saturday morning, i think, it's all sort've a blur now.

I used to drive a transit bus for the MTA, one weekend there was a ton of overtime, I worked a 20 hour shirft on Saturday, was off for three, then a 21 hour shift on Sunday. So I drove 41 out of 44 hours. When I drive to Florida, and people ask how do you make it straight through, I laugh my ass off. It's only 18 hours to Vero beach for Christ sake.

Well one time I was on a cruise and between partying all night and dis-embarking the next day. I was up from 10 am on day and got to bed about 1-2 am the following day. about 39 hours of no sleep.

And on 9/11/01 I was up from the previous monday night at 5 pm and after getting my divorce then having to work all night for 15 hours I got back home and finally blacked out at 10 am.
I think that was a full 37 hours or so with no sleep again.

A few weeks ago I went without sleep for the first time in a while. I woke up for work on a Friday morn, after work went straight to the race my toys. While I was there, I decided the next day I was going to drive up to Enfield Conneticut , from Eastern Long Island, to race again. When I got home, I realized I would only get 3 hours of sleep before I had to get up to leave, so I just stayed up. It wasn't bad at all, I wasn't that tired, and I was able to pay enough attention to run fairly well. Then when I got home, I went out with the guys, and didn't get to sleep untill 3:00 am Sat morn.

I was up from 11am on a friday morning until 9pm sunday evening. If I'm doing my math correctly, and I like to think that I am, that's 58 hours straight. All in the name of a fraternity. Granted there were drugs involved, I don't think I could have done it without them.

I had a bad case of insomnia once that went on for 2 weeks. I layed in bed all night trying to sleep, but couldnt fall asleep. I tried everything, walking for 5 or 6 miles, reading whole books through from beginning to end and even downing a tall glass of whiskey, nothing worked. I was going out of my mind. At work, I was a zombie. I went to a doctor and he put me on anxiety medication and some sleeping pills. I was suppose to take one and it was suppose to knock me out within a half hour. Nothing. The next tight I took 2, still nothing. So a week later the anxiety meds started working and I was finally able to get some sleep, now Im

Back in the 80`s, I went on vacation to L.A. for a week . I too , went on a 2 1/2 day Meth bender w/ a couple of Hotties. Coming home with a sore dick , a swollen face and 4 grand poorer, I think I slept for 2 days. Thank God those fuckin` days are long over.

I've been up for about 50 hours at a clip, but tell you the truth, when the wife and I first started having problems at home, I was logging about 2 hrs a night for weeks at a clip, and that was WAY worse.
