Divoreced/ NON Married

i have a friend who is dating a guy who is married unhappily

before they became a couple they were good friends from work- he didnt cheat on his wife- he was separated before that

if a guy was divorced or vica versa and the other party in that relationship was never married or wanted to get married do you think it would work?

i mean if i was divorced/ in an unhappy union i dont think id ever want to get married again- of course depending on what situations happen

what are some divorced peoples outlook on stuff like this?
