Big Ass Gathering This Friday

I'm pitching a big ass get together this friday after the show...any one interested? We should all get together and support all the workers and emergency personnel at west side Hwy and christopher street

Big ass card members, fans of the show or anyone who knows anyone who wants to be there and do something to help

signs are great, but just applauding and words of encouragment and support is all that is needed!!!

If anyone is interested let me know or post it and we'll work on making definite plans!!

And anyone willing to give me a ride if my father mr.patriotic decides not to go would be appreciated..i got work till 9 but i'll head out right after work.

According to the NYFD, many people who gather near "ground zero" are a nuisance, getting in the way and taking pictures. If you want to help, stay away. Give blood. Write a check. I know you mean well, but this is not the time to organize a get together.

Actually Heckler, I am going to have to disagree with you on this one buddy. I have already been down there, it is not near enough to ground zero to be a nuisance and the repsonse from all of the workers, fire and police has been that seeing those people down there keeps them going.

along West side Hwy, from 14th all the way down to canal, people stand on the outside of the police barracades, so it is no interference with the rescue effort what so ever. Futher to the east, I agree with ya here heckler, it is more congested and people do get in the way. If my info is wrong I apologize, but hopefully nothing has changed since I was last there

The good that is being done down there for these brave people is amazing.

I hope many of you come down and show your support, even for a minute. You dont need to do anything, buy anything, or join anything....just be there

This would be a great show of support for them and a great reflection on who we are..

Billy, from what I know, most of the people who are down near the area are locals and tourists, many who walked or traveled by mass transit. There is a potential for major traffic problems, and today during his press briefing, Mayor Guiliani asked people to stay away.
