I don't find Dave Chapelle funny

My roomate was showing me a Dave Chapelle DVD last night and I didn't find any of it funny....he showed me a bit where he goofed on trading spouses.....played a crackhead talking to kids in a drug awareness program.....and played a black white supremisist.....didn't find any of it funny....whoever has Dave Chapelle is a no talent hack in their sig is pretty much right on

I am also in the same boat. I don't know why but for years and years I have been shown his comedy stand-ups and have just either not gotten it or I don't know what. I have also been very down on stand-up comedy over the last few years cause I just haven't heard anything good and funny. Is there and comedy out there anymore that is intelligent AND funny? I have kind of gotten past the dick and fart jokes although a little here and there can be refreshing a times. I think I have gone more towards the spoken word genre.

Yes, my thingy down there says he is a no talent hack, thats just me being a shocker. BOO! In all seriousness, there has always been comedy that I haven't gotten and it pisses me off because I think I SHOULD be getting it. I am a bit slow at times with comedy so maybe that is the case. I am so much more than willing to try out his show again on VH1 (is it? I am so disconnected from TV) because I hear it is really funny and he does some kind of Rick James impersonation I hear? Man, did I love Rick James so I will have to try and check it out.

I found his HBO stand-up show a couple of year's agoto be mediocre, but his Chappelle's Show is brilliant, most of the time. My 2 favorite skits are the racial draft and the gang war over the sneakers being stepped on.

Dave Chapelle is one of the funniest comedians I have ever seen. His show is great! I don't think I've ever or will ever laugh as hard as I do when I watch his show. The last episode with Wayne Brady was comedy gold. I mean Wayne Brady playing ghetto was so obvious, but it still had me rolling after seeing how he acted on his cheesy cancelled talk show.
