My birthday's this SUnday, and I hate it

I hate it because it was the day I quit my lat "real" job. That was 3 years ago!!! I was working in Pa and I couldn't take it anymore, so I quit and moved back to NYC. SInce then I haven't really done or achieved anything (ive had some "jobs", but most were "under the table"-type). It just sucks that I did this on my birthday, where I'm supposed to be happy, now I"m down on my birthday.

Thank God my parents are giving my money to get drunk on Sun at the Metrostars game...just have to figure out what I'm doing Sat night....anyone want to be the "enabler" and get me hammered?

I know you aren't necessarily excited about it, but Happy Birthday anyway.

If it's any consolation, you probably won't always associate the negative events with your birthday.

Mine is today and for the past couple of years, I've actually forgotten it until my wife says "Happy Birthday" later in the day. I leave before she wakes up, old habits die hard. ;)

Enjoy the game, enjoy the booze, and realize that a sucky economy isn't a result of your quitting a job. And on the plus side, you're in NYC!!
