I see bumperstickers for New Hampshire that read 26+6= 1 with a picture of the State of New Hampshire on it. Whats the meaning?

Actually, 26+6=1 refers to unifying Ireland. 26 is the number of counties in the south and 6 is the number in the north. I think the picture is of Ireland not New Hampshire.

Yeah the UK is England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

Not very 'United' where ya think about it.

I saw the same thing a few times in the same car I usually drive by in the morning.. the fellow driving looked very Irish/Scottish to me (like the father of the fat girl in Shallow Hal).. I researched this also and was unable to figure it out..

I also see, next to that bumper sticker, that he put a "England : Get out of Ireland" bumper sticker also..

I've been to England and being Argentine, I experienced no hassle or no discrimination.. maybe the older generation has anger, but the newer English generation are hella cool.
