Oh I agree, but I dont think that makes it a bogus site. In fact, I think the fakes are real too.

Meaning, like the picture of the feather Mask? And other weird shit no one would Imagine ever getting much less wearing? Well when I got my first teaching gig I was also Class Advisor and I found out real quick there is an Entire Industry in the Weirdest, Most Obnoxious, "No Way in a Million Years would I be caught Dead Wearing That" kind of stuff, exactly like that Feather Mask.

And so there are catalogs out there; any recent HS grads who did prom shit now or back in the day can back me up here. I didnt go to my proms and dances, I was in the woods with friends, cheap beer, and bunk weed.

Others, elsewhere, and now, are looking at these catclogs with the Stupidest things Ever, and Schools buy them for their Cheezy Proms. Arabian Nights theme? No problem we have the full Fake Tent and Fake Palm Trees and of course they have these high school age models in these awful outfits in the pics.

I'm rambling, but Shit, this is bringing back Bad memories.

I can vouch for the asshole Posers too. Being advisor also = Having to stand there sometimes when the Prom group Photos are taken.

And Yep; you get the catalogs from the photo companies, with Examples like those at the site. Actually, I'd bet most of those are real students who were tasteless enough to think the pose they saw on pg.12 was a cool one.

Wow this is opening old wounds, god the horror of seeing a group of eight juniors and/or seniors being posed around a fake table; the mix of wannabe cool and Utterly Horrific is just Surreal.

im actually kind of envious- for some reason i always wanted to be a chaperone at a dance- i dont know why but i remember when i was in like 7th grade and the "young" teachers were there dancing- i always thought that was so cool

my senior prom (1999) my friend was GRINDING with this one teacher- GOD WAS HE HOT- and we basically had to HID the both of them while they were getting their groove on from her date (which is now her husband)

mr buck was the teachers name- you know what else rhymes with buck......... ? ;p
