All,

Tomorrow morning at 10am, Real Radio 1053 will end. The station will
become a spanish language music station. I was informed of this
today just after 3:00.

Someone in management called Ferrall today to inform him. I
called Orff and Manic Mike this afternoon to tell them.

There have been rumors out there on-line about the possibility of
this happening and here it is. Therefore, it is with regrets, that I
introduce you to VIVA 1053.

This is it, folks. They gave it a shot. They let it go for a while.
And eventually, they began exploring other options and now they have
found one.

I have not spoken to Scott yet, but hopefully will later.

I do not see the need for more then one spanish station in any market. It all sounds like the same song anyway, so why would you need to change to another station?

in all reality Spanish people lllooovvee music. My Gf's family is Puerto Rican on her dad's side. Whenever they get together they don't watch TV at all, they play music(bongos, some sort of drum, a bell or something.) they are awesome at it and they have performed all over New York and have CD's.

Bottom line is that they'll listen to the radio more than alot of other market segments if they have something they like.

The Carnival? Rio DeJaniero? Oh My God the best collection of asses Ever. I think John Stagliano [Buttman in Porn] did a Carnival series; some were just scenes of the clubs and the dancing chicks in what you might call 'clothing'. It wasnt even porn, just the chicks, and it was as hot as the Sun.
