For a few weeks now Ive been working on my sprinkler system. Now in the front of my house I have a thing for the cable TV( thing , I dont know the name of it but you get the idea) Now a few times Ive run across the cable line. One I accidentally hit what I thought was the only one going to my house. Turns out it wasnt mine. Digging a little more I found there were three lines. Today I was on the side of the house doing some landscaping. When I saw , but didnt feel, the cut cable line. I walk inside to see if I had cut it. Sure enough I turn on the TV and all I get is snow. SO now I kinda tied the wires together BUt the signal isnt as strong as it was. Now Umm heres the other problem. From what my mother told me, when she purchased the house about 2 years ago, the cable wasnt shut off. She thought it might take some days but ever since shes pretty much had free cable. So its not like I can call the cable company, and ask them to fix the line. Honestly from the looks of it I think the cable was rigged. The wire isnt burired deep enough, let alone cased in something so a dumbass like me cant hit it and worry about patching it. What should I do to patch it and get it back to normal?
