If the idea of the logo is to be easily read and recognized, then I have to go with #1.

Graphically, some of the others are cooler, but if this is part of your advertising and the logo may get transferred to stationary or other company related items, then you've got to go with something that isn't difficult (for the vast majority of your target market) to recognize.

Additionally, if you were hiring a marketing firm to consult with you on the logo, they would tell you that the logo needs to impart to the consumer what kind of business you are (or at least the core service you provide).

If this doesn't have anything to do with business for you, then please disregard all of the above.

If this has something to do with business, feel free to disregard all of the above. ;)
