Have any of you contact lens wearers tried this new lens called Hydraclear? from Acuvue? (http://www.jnjvision.com/products/advance.html) I'm curious if they're better than regular contacts, I am due for a vision exam and I'm thinking about getting them. I have the regular acuvues and they're okay, but if I wear them during the day, my eyes tend to see blurs when I look at lights at night. Someone told me that they heard these ones you can wear all day without problems. From the website it sounds that way, but I'd like to know from people who actually have them or heard things about them.

I have not heard of them Reef-O-Rama but since I too wear the Acuvues now I will def check this out.
I know its a cliche about people leaving in lenses too long and it can hurt the eyes, but my doctor showed me photographs of my eye; after i'd been leaving in lenses in for a couple years [not one pair that time, but id go a month, ya know...]
and in the photos you see the tiny blood vessels around the lens are growing differently as they try to re-direct to get the oxygen to that part of the eye that the contact is on, and seeing that was pretty scary, considering I think sight is one of my fave senses, ya know?

Haven't tried them. I did use Accuvues for about 6 months but I hated them. My vision wasn't as clear with the Biomedics 55 lenses I usually used and they were always getting folded up or blurry and just generally annoying.

I wear them. They allow more oxygen into your eyes. They are a lot more comfortable than any other contacts I have worn. I would definately give them a try.

do they make them in toric? the contacts I have right now, they're really not that comfortable, but I have a pretty bad astigmatism and need toric lenses.
