I wish I could find a screencap, but in a weird way I'm glad I didn't actually. I really get creeped out by that Burger King commercial where the guy wakes up to the King in his bed. R&F talked about it a few weeks ago, and it really does weird me out when I see those commercials. I don't want to wake up to the King and his porcelain face.

For me that's the creepiest, because he's about to try and shove some meat down the guys throat.

It kills me whenever I see it but I also get really uncomfortable.
The strasnge thing for me is the first thing I thought was damn, thats Howard Eskin (local Philadelphia Sports Genius/Asshole). He also is the self proclaimed King of Philadelphia Sports and is referred to as King, Cheif, Genius, whatever.
Comparison:

my other favorite is the cell phone commercial where the guy jumps into the gorilla pit to retrieve his phone ...
again, i love the moment when the ape holds his hand up, giving the 'hold on one second, i'm the phone' jesture to the guy ...

That commercial rules. So does the "Nocturnal Caller" one.

I love that one. Especially when the dog knocks the guy over the bushes. Or when his hiding behind the garbage cans.

Glad I'm not the only one. That freakin' Burger King creeps the hell out of me. No way I'm going anywhere near a BK (if I was going to) in case that weirdo is there.
The notcurnal caller guy has the best looks for that commercial (as an Animal Planet fan he's got it right) and the dog jumping the guy is hilarious.
And yes, the ape gesturing for the guy to wait is gold.

Now I'm starving
I'm about to turn it up a notch!

I cant stand that commercial.
I honestly feel bad for the guy that wakes up to see a weird looking character that pretty much broke into your house and sit in your own bed, just waiting to strike...with a nasty sandwich.
Did it try to molest him in his sleep? We may never know

No - I always took it that he went to bed too drunk to realize he brought Burger King home with him. THe next day he's feeling dirty and ashamed and trying to remember, when Burger King breaks the uncomfortableness with handing him a burger - then they laugh.
The SCARY thing is that this had to have gone through several different levels of development before it ever went on the air!

Since when is there an actual Burger "King"? In all these years the place has existed there was never a face to the name. Why all of a sudden is he coming out in public? And why is he so goddamn scary??

Actually, I think they did actually have a Burger King about 20 years ago, for a short period of time. I'm not certain, but the plastic headed creature we see today may have been a throw back to that.
Not sure.

Actually there was. In fact the King had a whole entourage. He used to be in the Burger King commercials in the late 70's all the time.

Nocturnal Caller ad for T-Mobile has "Mac" from Night Court in it. he's the one driving the car in the first part of the commercial.
What happened to his hot Asian wife? Why'd she get replaced?

They tried to do a movie based on these characters but ultimately failed when they couldn't secure the services of Michael J. Fox for Sir Shake-A-Lot.

Just they used to have the Whaler Sandwich. You two bit motherfuckers KILLED my favourite sandwich and called it a Fish Sandwich cause Whaler wasn't PC. Now I go to Friendly's for my Fish-a-ma-jig Sandwich.

I don't know me and my cousin went over this the other day. If I wake up to a "Burger King" and he's got one of those Double Crossainwich things for me, I might give him a few seconds more time before I ran screaming. I love the commercial but for some reason I legitly did not get freaked out.
The other two commercials mentioned are also awesome.

I think Ronald McDonald is creepier than the burger king, and he has all those creepy friends.
