In all honesty Im roud of him. Its not every day a guy quits his union job in the city making about 17 an hour to fight for his country. The bad part about this is I didnt really get to say goodbye and good luck. I talked to him last week and wished him good luck but I told him Id call him but I forgot. Im honeslty scared for him and pray they dont ship him out to Iraq in 3 months. I dont need to see another American Soldjer die, none the less my very good freind. <p>http://www.homeofheroes.com/postcards/postcards/Military/Semper%20Fi.jpg

I hope your friend stays safe and out of the shit.
He is doing our nation a great service, and has our respect. I will pray for his safety1

i was in the marines but i cried and pissed my way all through bootcamp. the most action i ever saw was guarding flloyd bennet field in brooklyn and im proud to say that we were never overrun. is your friend a grunt or "in the rear with the gear". i was a com guy so even if i was deployed i would have stayed back in basecamp anyway. god bless your friend and god bless all marines.
ps....if anyone hasnt been through marine corps bootcamp, let me tell you, drill instructors can be quite surly

So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life

My cousin has been to the middle east 2 times already. He was part of the original "Shock and Awe" and the coalition. He also got married earlier in the year (he wore the traditonal Marine dress uniform) before he had to go back the 2nd time. I'm pretty sure he's back there again.
