I've been eating Beef Jerky

It was about 2 weeks ago I was walking down an isle in Walmart and I saw this bag..

And I know its not the healthiest thing to eat, but I was suddenly craving something salty and I ruled out potato chips and figured I would buy a bag. Well, I tore it open in the car as I drove away and I put a piece in my mouth and immediatly thought of dog treats, but I ate it anyway and it wasnt bad. But its like anything else, you cant have "just one" and the next thing I know the bags empty (there isnt much in it to begin with) and a few days go by and Im suddely thinking about it again and I go back for more. Im on my 3rd bag now and Im getting scared that Im turning into a hillbilly and Im making sure I keep my sideburns trimmed and intentionally not wearing any plaid.. Anyone else ever try this stuff and get hooked on it for a few days?

Its kinda steep, like $4.50 a bag. I was reading this book last year about these guys stranded up in the arctic and this was all they had to eat and the way they were describing it as they were starving and how they looked so forward to the next time they ate it kind of had me starvin' for it back then, but I never acted on it till I noticed it in the store. My brother was telling me that he use to work next to this gorgeous girl that would scarf down this stuff like crazy. It does seem to have an addictive quality to it.

short cute story:

my wife's best friend's boyfriend is a Manager at the local Eckerd. They had that same bag at a price of 2.50 or 2.99, i forget which(had the orange sticker on it). I've only seen it in Wawa's and ShoRites etc. for 5.99

So i would buy 3 or 4 bags at a time from Eckerds. Then we got together with my wife'd friend and boyfriend one time and I happen to mention how great it was that they sold it for a great price.

ME AND MY BIG MOUTH!!!!!!

haven't seen it for under the 5.99 since, not even a fucking sale!

this reminds me of my pork rinds addiction when I was like ten. I'd get a bag everyday for like two months then I just stopped. I liked the BBQ kind. Don't know what changed, but now I hate them.

I just remembered this one time my teacher went to africa for some kind of summit. he brought back some jerkey of all wild animals (antelope and small wild african deer). it was nto 1/2 bad. I was the only one in my class who would try it.
