View Full Version : Im discovering that Im not a good handy man
Today my mother asked me to hang up a curtain holder in her bedroom. Real simple job, drill the hole then stick in that plastic piece that the screw goes into. Real simple. NOT! I drill and drill to get the plastic piece in the hole to only see that the hole is too big. So can't do that got to hire someone to hang a fucking curtain holder. Next, fix the leak to the slop sink in the garage. Simple enough right? All you have to do is tighten the screw going to the facet. NOPE! The whole thing then comes off. I'm flipping out wondering how the hell I'm going to fix it. Every plumber in the yellow pages is busy and can't show up until the earliest 6PM. So I make two runs to ACE hardware, to only get an attitude by this jerk off who works there. Come home put the compression fitting on the copper, turn on the water, and it starts spraying all over the place. Cursing my head off I take it back off and put it back on. Turn on the water, no spraying this time, only I'm back to having another dripping pipe. <p> Now ask me to fix your sprinkler system and we're in business!

Here's your problem, instead fix the screw going to the faucet.

Don't think you'll ever make it as a handyman, but you should have your fix it jobs sold to a sit-com TV show. That would be funny shit!

Your first problem was thinking that the cutain holder needed "more power".
