View Full Version : Favorite Christmas Song

This station in Dallas has been playing Christmas songs 24/7 since November 1st and it got me thinking about my favorite Christmas songs.

I love listening to my CDs in December even though I've heard the songs a million times there are still certain songs I love to hear over and over. (And I have the classic singers like Bing Crosby & Nat King Cole since that's what my mom played growing up).

My favs are:

1. I'll Be Home for Christmas
2. The Christmas Song (AKA Chestnuts Roasing on an Open Fire)
3. Let it Snow
4. Carol of the Bells
5. White Christmas

O Holy Night, easily. Nat King Cole's version is one of my favorites. I really don't care for these new pop stylized versions of it. I think that song is best sung classically.

My friend once asked me thie quesion and I said "Feliz Navidad". Then she got all mad at me and told me to be serious, but I really was being serious. This is the Christmas song that makes me the happiest when I hear it.

I hate when radio stations start Christmas music too early (95.5 anyone?), but my faves are:
All I want for Christmas is you -M Carey
Dreidel Dreidel Dreidel -South Park
and yeah, ok, that Waitresses song.

Oh--and "Ding, Fries Are Done"

None of which I've heard so far this year.
