Best alcoholic drink?

Since I'm just getting into the whole drinking thing, what's the best alcoholic drink out there?

BTW, I'm going through my parents' alcohol tonight, and the only thing I have to mix alcohol with is chocolate milk and hot chocolate. Ran outta soda.

O, and is gin stronger than rum, cuz I was trying some gin out and I couldn't tell if it was old or just really, really strong.

And it does not matter what kind of liquor it is, the higher the proof, the more stronger the drink.

As far as alcoholic beverages go for me in college, I'm quite the fan of rum and coke preferably with Malibu coconut rum. My other perfered drink is a 7 and 7 with some Dewar's.

Although my good friend the last night at an off campus party had several shots of Bacardi 151. Let's just say he slept soundly that night.

All in all, you just have to sample a little bit of everything until you find the right one for you.

Corona, drink the 'neck' out of it, and then fill up with Bacardi Limon. I am sure more than enough members can vouch for me how much fun this can be.

Asides from that it is Amaretto Sour.

1 part triple sec
splash of lemon

serve over ice.

I realize that, but I'm not going for buzz factor here, I like to actually drink alcohol for taste. Getting drunk is just something that comes along later. I might be the only eighteen year old who thinks this way.

either oj or cranberry with seltzer and vodka over ice ...

Just get a GOOD bourbon (Makers, Knob Creek, Bookers)
and drink it straight up. Jim Beam works too, but its a little rough.
If its too strong for you put it on the rocks.
Dont do Jack Daniels or Woodford reserve, which is darker and more for mixing (Coke or Juleps).
