Will Giant Brian ever be broken?

I was listening to some shows from last spring before WB left and I forgot how much abuse WB went through for RF. The neck slaps, the threat of having to sleep over Cigar Cid's parent house, etc.

We all remember Al Dukes numerous crack ups.

Whats the deal with RF and Giant Brian? It seems to me that RF are easing up on him. Guess this is another "new" direction for the show.

well it seems from what i heard is giant brain actually works and, sets up bits and books guests, and contributes to the show instead of telling people to do it for him. so i think they ease up on him becuz they want him to stay, they did those things to Al and WB becuz they wanted them gone but didnt want to fire them.so they had them go through a bunch of crap so they quit themselves.but this is just from what i gathered hearing the DC shows on the site up here in Jersey.

He seems to be taking the abuse pretty well. I think it was really easy to break Wonderboy. Brian will break, just like all the others did but it will take some time.

After Al Dukes left and Rory took over he was not treated the same way as Al. Each producer is abused in there own special way I guess.

Aside from taking some glee in WB's misfortune (nothing made Fez happier than calling him "Ray Bottoms," or teasing him about his sensitive nipples), it never sounded like R&F actually set out to break Wonderboy - they just want a good producer. And if they can't have that, then they want to be able to laugh at what they got.

There seems to be a lot that they can work with/play off with Giant Brian, and he seems willing to go with it - however, he does come across as something of a ballbuster at times, which isn't something they are really use to from the producer. Still too early to see how well of a fit he will ultimately be for the show - I actually like him because he is different from others in that role, but maybe that's just surface - after all, it didn't take anything for him and Ogre to fall into familiar prodcuer vs. intern roles, even without R&F prodding them. Maybe it all goes with the territory.

Break him? Have you seen him? It would be like breaking the illegitimate son of George "the Animal" Steele !?!?! They'll need at least 2 tire irons and a baseball bat w/ 9 Ten penny nails in it AND a step ladder !!! Plus he's really sweet, even though he mistook me for Elfish when I marched around outside of Live 105 for RnF's appearance there, or he just said it to piss me off. Giant Brian is an enigma wrapped in a mystery, shrouded in confusion from the front stoop of the Mid West. I vote no, he won't be broken. He's got a great big ol' back to let that shit roll off of!
