question about a file from the library

I just downloaded and listened to the bit with OCDs and Hawks Mudding habits. and about 4 to 5 minutes into it there is what sounds like and answering machine message for carl. and I was just wondering why it was there is all. if someone could tell me that would be great mmmmkay. thanx.it's not really important but i'm just bored at work.but the mystery of carl is bothering me.

I completely forgot that was on there. I think whoever recorded that bit had their phone hooked up to the computer, and it accidentally played in the middle of the segment. I'm pretty sure it wasn't part of the show.
