makes me fucking sick to my stomach. I was out at this bar and I saw this woman who had to be at least 6 months pregnant drinking and smoking. Dont people relize what they are doing to their unborn? DO they even care?

i think it's just terrible, too. but, apparently, things like drinking and doing drugs and stuff is far more dangerous to the fetus in the early stages of the pregnancy. so it's possible that a woman who is pretty far along, like the one AG described, may not really be doing her baby much harm. that being said, though, if it were me, i wouldn't do anything that had any possibility of causing harm

I think it is a bad idea, if you care for the health of your child. I find a lot of preggo girls think it's ok because their parent smoked while carrying them. My mother reflected this bad advice to a friend of mine, since she smoked while pregnant with me. Of couse she fails to realize that was 22 fucking years ago, and birth defects run much more rampant now.
