Friday was not a good day for me.
I travel a lot in my job, and I noticed I had a quarter of a tank of gas. Since I knew I was going to be using the 4x4 today, which uses an obscene amount of gas, I filled up.
Then I went to work. WHile I was as work, I heard the snow report numbers going up and up and up.
I then realize that my house had no snow shovels, no salt, no nothing. So I left work, went to Home Depot, and got all that stuff. I took the company van, and as I was leaving, some toolbox said, "WHAT, IS YOUR STATION NOT READY FOR THE SNOW? HA! HA! HA!"
I then went back to work, and then realized that the house had no food in it. I mean, there's a lot of take out places around our house, and there's a convience store down the street, but we didn't have the basics for the weekend - milk, OJ, diet pepsi, etc. We usually do food shopping on the weekend, so I left work AGAIN to go get bread/cereal/etc.
After all was said and done, my boss asked me where I went and I told him... he started cracking up.
So I was THAT GUY who stocked up for a snowstorm.
Don't be THAT GUY.
