I just bought so much of it. No, not for the little sniveling brats who go door to door. Legalized begging is what I call it. Do the homeless trick or treat?

No, I went to Wal Mart the Saturday after Halloween and bought like 4 bags of different candies at HUGE DISCOUNT!!! I'm talking like 50 cents to a dollar a bag.

Well that was a mistake, because I still have about 2 of those bags a little less than half full of candy. And the others are just about gone because I didn't get sick of them. And this was after I took 2 BIG Zip Lock bags of assorted candy into work to share with my co-workers.

Ahh, the remorse of a sugar junkie.

Not much info...there was nothing in Google's picture search, but under the web search I found this web page. (http://www.theimaginaryworld.com/fod19.html)

It seems to just have pictures of old candy wrappers and boxes, and there's no info...just that the wrapper is from the 70's.

Your computer might still have the "memory" of the photo (Man, that's not technical at all) since you viewed it on its original page, hence why YOU can sometimes see it here...but not the rest of us.

Eh, after reading all the non-fighting responses, I'm not that skeeved out about eating halloween candy this late anymore. It is just candy, and since all of it is barely real food, I know I won't get poisoned by eating an old piece for a few more months. It'll be gone by then, even if I have to give it away to my friends again.

I KNOW that things I've said have been removed completely on this site, it happens. And I'm almost positive I saw Angelino's account erased from a thread where he was bringing up something he didn't like about the site.

Now if this was done by one mod/admin and reversed later by another, or if this is a huge conspiracy, I don't know. I just know that things like that have happened, and I hope they never happen again.

Moe, dont be. Sugar happens to be an excellent preservative. And the "white" streaks on the chocolate are called "Bloom". Its simply the cocoa butter rising up due to temperature changes, which affect emulsification. Not spoiled, just doesnt look the same. In my biz, I'll buy large amounts of Chocolate and leave it out for many months and its fine. Health Dept doesn't even have a problem with it, and they look to write tickets more than Traffic Cops. We've all heard about Twinkees having a shelf life of years, this is the same. Next time you go food shopping, look at the expiration date on candy. Usually over a year.
