Well, I just found out that a girl I was quite friendly with in college is going to be a contestant on a very popular reality show.

Part of me is bitter, but part of me also realizes that she was a major attention-seeker in college, so this doesn't surprise me at all.

Part of me also hopes that America doesn't "turn" on her, because she's a genuinely nice person, and America loves to tear apart reality show contestants.

Hopefully she'll be eliminated in Week 1 and America will forget about her.

I find out in a few weeks if I get to live in the house in hollywood with the rest of the finalists.
