This has to be one of Bill's BEST roles! He turned this mediocre show into a hilarious comedy. He gets ALOT of help from a VERY sarcastic/evil James Spader (Alan Shore) and a HOT Betty White (Catherine Piper).

Here's an example:

Denny Crane is in court and crossexamining a witness. Freddy Prinze Jr. is his illegitimate son AND the opposing lawyer:

Denny Crane: "Ok Mitch"

Witness: "The name's Mich‘l."

Denny Crane: "Whatever. What's your LAWYERS name?

Witness: "Donny Crane."

Denny Crane: "What's MY name?

Witness: "Denny Crane."

Denny Crane: "Big difference, Isn't there?"

Donny Crane: "MOVE TO STRIKE!"

Judge: "MR. CRANE!"

Denny Crane: "Now YOU'VE got it! Lock and load..."

*Walks off all full of himself*



Denny Crane:"Some people find it...hard...to accept...that they are in...the same room as THE Denny Crane...so I simply repeat it...so...that...they may know...that it is indeed Denny Crane...THE Denny Crane."

*He proceeds to stand up in court, look at the jury and say, "Denny Crane"*




He's RETARDED FUNNY as a narcissist.

Boston Legal is a good show. Shatner and Spader are great as is Candice Bergen. they have a couple real hot chicks as well.
